# Enapter Android Mobile Application Quick Start Guide

# Installing the application

  1. Please ensure that your Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is connected to the Internet over Wi-Fi. You also have to know your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and your Wi-Fi password. Please note that the Wi-Fi signal should be 2.4 GHz. Check that an antenna is securely connected to the communication module and located outside of any metal constructions. You must place your mobile device as close as possible to the Enapter system you are trying to connect to.

  2. You should be logged into your Google Play Store account on your device. If you haven’t done this yet, follow steps on the page https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/27441?hl=en&ref_topic=3382296 (opens new window)

  3. Run the browser on your device and navigate to https://app.enapter.com (opens new window) (URL for mobile device only).

    The redirection link should appear. Press Open in Play Store App button.

    Or you can open the link using QR-code.

    The Google Play Store Application should start.

    Press the Install button and wait until the installation process is finished.

  4. Run the Enapter application by pressing the Open button.

# Account Creation and Login

  1. To start using the application you need an account in the Enapter Cloud. If you already have an account, simply skip this step.

    To create an account click on Create account button of the first screen.

  2. Enter a valid email and password you would like to have in Enapter Cloud and press Sign Up button.

  3. Please check your mailbox and pressConfirm my account link to validate your account.

    Note: If you click Confirm my account from a mobile device, the application will automatically take the confirmation process and log in you into your account. In this case, skip the next step of the log in instructions.

  4. If you confirmed email on your desktop browser, click Login on confirmation email delivery screen.

    And enter your email and password on Login Screen and press Login button.

# Adding sites and devices

  1. After logging into your account for the first time, the application will ask you to create a site. Sites are location-based representations of your setup.

  2. Give your site a name, location and change the automatically detected time zone if it’s not correct. Then press Create Site.

  3. Your site acts as the main screen of application (to create a new site or select another site to press the list icon at the left bottom of the screen).

  4. To add a new device (Electrolyser, Dryer, Gateway, etc) to your site press the Add a new device button.

    If the application is launched for the first time, additional system permissions will be requested in order to use the camera with the app. Please allow them.

    Ensure that the Android device with the app is located close to the systems. When the QR code scanner screen will open, point your device camera to the QR code so it is fully fitted in the scan box and sharp. Depending on the conditions, additional lighting to capture a clear code may be required.

    Additional system permissions will be requested in order to access the device’s location with the app. Please allow them.

    After successfully scanning the QR code, the Wi-Fi setting screen will open. Enter your Wi-Fi SSID and password and press the Apply button.

    The settings provision process will start. Please be patient, it can take around two minutes.

    After the “Finish” screen appears, you can press the Go to Site Dashboard button or Calibrate Pressure Sensor.

# System control and monitoring

  1. Before going to Site Dashboard, you can calibrate Pressure Sensor if your device has it.

    Press the Start Calibration button. You should enter value from reference sensor. Note, that the low point must be less than the high point.

  2. Now you can start using your application to control and monitor your system. If you select your device on the main screen you will be able to access its current status and management. You can scroll down and see issues in Status tab and charts in Monitoring.

  3. You can look through your device charts to find available parameters values, e.g. Temperature and Pressure.

  4. Open settings to Reboot or Update your Device and Communication Module.

  5. To Reboot tap Reboot button. Wait until you get the notification that your Device or Communication Module was rebooted (you can tap anywhere and rebooting will continue in background).

  6. To Update Firmware tap on Update firmware button. Wait until you get the notification that your Communication Module firmware was updated (you can tap anywhere and updating will continue in background).

  7. You can read network settings by tapping on the Reading network settings button. Tap and hold on Configure TCP/IP button to set up your device’s IP-address.

  8. If there are some issues with your devices, you will see them in Site Issues tab by tapping on Status.

    Or you can see specific device’s issues in Device dashboard by tapping on Status.

  9. The latest update brought the new feature – Hub, where you can see all sites events and filter them by site name.
