# Analog Input Module
The Analog Input Module is used to receive data from analog devices with a 0…20 mA signal, RS-485 interface and Wireless connection is used for communication with the module. For example: a valve, a sensor and others. The Analog Input Module sends the collected data to the Enapter Gateway and Cloud via secure wireless connection.

The ENP-AI4-20MA Module must be horizontally mounted on 35 mm DIN rail according to IEC 60715.
# Connection Example
1 Amp Circuit Breaker recommended to use on power line for the ENP-AI4-20MA Module.
Wi-Fi protocols – 802.11 b/g/n/e/i (802.11n up to 150 Mbit/s).
Bluetooth protocols – Bluetooth v4.2 BR/EDR and BLE specification.
Alternating current voltage of 110 - 220 V is potentially lethal!

# Lua API
Lua API allow to build custom operation logic of ENP-AI4 UCM. It includes functions which implement various kinds of interaction with analog input, local variables storage, scheduler and Enapter Cloud.

# ENP-AI4-20MA Functions
Used to get read current from ADC of one of the analog inputs. Returns value in range 0 to 20 mA.
To use this function, the analog input channel must be switched into
current mode by setting jumper J9, J10, J11 or J12.
id is the analog input number 1 - 4.
