# I have scanned a QR-code to connect a device to the Enapter Cloud, but Mobile App shows an error message “Device Not Found“
- Please check that the device you are trying to add to the Enapter Cloud is powered on.
- Please check that antenna is assembled onto the device you are trying to add to the Enapter Cloud.
- Please place your smartphone as close as possible to the device you are trying to add to the Enapter Cloud and try again.
- If device was connected to the Dryer Control Network (DCN) previously, you need to perform a Factory Settings Reset (EL 4.1, EL 4.0, EL 2.1, DRY 2.1, WT 2.1) before adding it to the Enapter Cloud again.
- Be sure that UCM switched ON while you are adding Electrolyser EL 4.0 to the Enapter Cloud.
# I have scanned a QR-code to connect a device to the Enapter Cloud, but Mobile App shows an error message “Connection Problems“
Please install Enapter Diagnostics App from Google Play Store to check if the network you are connecting your Enapter device to meets the requirements. If any connectivity issues are displayed in the Enapter Diagnostics App, please contact your network administrator for further assistance.
# I have scanned a QR-code to connect a device to the Enapter Cloud, but Mobile App shows an error message “Wrong Password“ even though the password is correct
- Please place your Enapter device as close as possible to the Wireless Access Point and try again.
- If you are using a mobile phone as a Wireless Access Point, please try to disconnect all other devices from this phone and try again. Some mobile operators limit the number of devices you can connect to their network via a mobile phone.
# I have scanned a QR-code of the Enapter Gateway to connect it to the Enapter Cloud, but Mobile App shows an error message “Device Not Found“
You might have upgraded Enapter Gateway Firmware from version 1.8.x to 2.x. Adding Enapter Gateway 2.x to the Enapter Cloud can’t be done via the Mobile App and QR-code scanning. Please refer to the Enapter Gateway 2.x installation process.
# I have scanned a QR-code to connect a device to the Enapter Cloud, but Mobile App shows an error message “Wrong Wi-Fi Password” or “Wi-Fi not found”
- Ensure the Wi-Fi password and network name (SSID) are entered correctly.
- Try re-entering your password and connecting again. Please note that the Enapter Mobile App currently supports only 2.4 GHz networks and does not work with 5 GHz networks. Network configuration supports only Latin characters.
- The Wi-Fi signal may be too weak. Ensure that the device is placed in an area where the Wi-Fi connection is strong and reliable. You might need to move the device closer to the router or eliminate any physical obstructions that could be interfering with the signal. Additionally, consider checking the Wi-Fi settings to confirm that the network itself is functioning properly.
- Please ensure that the device’s antenna is properly connected. Check the antenna for damage and secure it firmly. Adjusting the angle or position of the antenna can sometimes enhance the signal strength and improve overall performance.
